WordPress Installation

To install Cookie, you should have the latest version or >4.3 of WordPress. if you don’t have the WordPress installed. You can install the WordPress from the following two methods.

  • Automatic Install – Most of the hosting providers are having the “One click Install” feature for WordPress.
  • Manual Install – If you want to install the WordPress manually or you don’t have the “One Click Install” feature, please refer the following link Installing WordPress

PHP Server Configurations

Having a proper server configuration is very essential for upload & installation process. While the installation process, low server limits may lead to errors such as Internal Server Error or Are you sure you want to do this?. So make sure that you are having the equivalent or higher limits compare to the below.

– Go to php.ini file at “root/etc” directory and paste the code snippet(at right top) to setup the new configuration.

max_execution_time = 300
max_input_vars = 2000
memory_limit = 128M
post_max_size = 32M
upload_max_filesize = 32M

– Go to .htaccess file at main WordPress directory and paste the code snippet(at right bottom) at the end of file.

Note: If you don’t have an access to the php.ini, .htaccess please contact your hosting provider to increase the limits for you.
